ʜɪsᴛᴏʀʏ: Born to Raggedear and Honeyfeather, Copperstrike had one littermate, a tom-cat named Mistkit. When the two were around 4 moons old they snuck out of the camp at Copperstrike's whims, and the two managed to make it a rather far distance before they ran into trouble. They were both sniffing around the edge of Dapple Creek when the soft soil gave way, and Mistkit fell in and drowned, too small to be able to swim back out.
After that, Copperstrike was the only kit left in the nursery, and his father stopped visiting so often; he claimed he was busy, but Copperstrike always felt his father was disappointed in him. He grew up mostly playing by himself, and in doing so didn't learn many of the personable skills he would have interacting with cats his own age.
When he became an apprentice, Copperstrike was dedicated, but also prone to snapping at his mentor and the other apprentices, and was labeled as a fast learner, but unfriendly. When an injury held back one of the apprentices, Copperstrike pushed ahead of them and became a warrior first, despite the difference in age, and received the suffix -strike for his tendency to act first and think second, and his fighting prowess.
As a young warrior, he has very few friends, and doesn't talk much outside of snarky comments and brief affirmatives to orders.

Copperstrike has a definite habit of 'shooting first and asking questions later', as it were. He leads with his head and acts in a way that he believes to be the best course of action that, upon further reflection, probably wasn't what he should be doing. This sometimes gets him into a lot of fights that he doesn't care much for getting himself out of.

-Dedicated, adj: (of a person) devoted to a task or purpose; having single-minded loyalty or integrity
Even though he can be a bit rash at times, Copperstrike is and always has been dedicated to his warrior studies. His mentor was always surprised at how quickly he picked up a move, because he would practice it in his down time again and again until he got it right, sometimes pushing himself to the point of exhaustion if he was frustrated with his progress. When he battles with other cats, he will sometimes watch what they do and see if he can adapt it into his own fighting style.
[ Snappish ]
-Snappish, adj: (of a dog) irritable and inclined to bite
When Copperstrike deigns to talk, he's usually fairly rude, saying the first thing that comes to his mind - usually something insulting or aggressive. He is irritated fairly easily, and so is easy to provoke into snapping something rude. He also does not hesitate to give those irritating him a warning nip.

-Loyal, adj: giving or showing firm and constant support or allegiance to a person or institution
Despite his surly nature, and his seeming dislike for his clanmates, Copperstrike is fiercely loyal and is more than willing to give his life and all he has for his clan and leader. Even if he doesn't agree with the command, he will likely follow any order he receives.
[ Hot-headed ]
-Hot-headed, adj: having an impetuous or quick-tempered nature.
Similar to him being impulsive, Copperstrike is very quick to anger. He is not altogether too patient or forgiving of slight offenses, and his easy irritability makes him not the best cat to have around easily-spooked kits, because he will likely growl at them at some point.

-Invisible, adj: withdrawn from or out of sight; hidden
Except when he comes up with a particularly witty retort or whilst fighting, Copperstrike prefers to stay out of the limelight. He mostly hangs back and listens to what the other cats are saying, usually filing it away for future knowledge. He doesn't get noticed much slipping in and out of places, and he prefers it that way.

sʜᴏʀᴛ ᴅᴇsᴄʀɪᴘᴛɪᴏɴ: A light-colored Toyger-Oriental mix with amber eyes.
ʟᴏɴɢ ᴅᴇsᴄʀɪᴘᴛɪᴏɴ: A light pale-colored cat with varying shaded streaks, Copperstrike has the markings and short-fur of a Toyger and Oriental, and larger ears and slightly angular face of an Oriental. Copperstrike's markings darken from a light gray to black as they move down his body, and he has a light pink nose and black pawpads with no visible scarring. He also has particularly dark eyes, nearly brown, although they are amber.
ʙᴜɪʟᴅ: Sleek and lithe, Copperstrike has subtle muscles underneath his pelt, but looks more thin than buff.
ғᴜʀ: Short, sleek, and glossy; good for hot, dewy newleaf and greenleaf days but unfavorable for cold, leaf-bare nights.
ᴇʏᴇs: A dark amber, nearly brown
ʀᴏʟᴇᴘʟᴀʏ sᴀᴍᴘʟᴇ
"Look, kid," Raggedtooth snapped, looking down at the apprentice with curled lips, "I don't have time for your bullshit right now. How about you run along and go stick your snout in a foxtrap, yeah?" Huffing, he flicked his tail and turned on his paws, stalking away towards the camp's entrance. Hearing the apprentice trotting at his heels, he stopped, growling in irritation. This shortstack was getting on his nerves, and if they didn't stop soon, he was going to give them scars to rival his own. "Listen, you little shit, go hunt or do something productive, somewhere. I don't even care what you do."[/ul][/ul][/ul]
