Coalstep was... unwanted by his parents. When he was born, Acorntail and Hazeldove were still apprentices, and couldn't even consider having a child. They reluctantly gave him up, and he was moved to BreezeClan against his wishes. To this day, he feels he doesn't exactly fit in with his new Clanmates, and resents his mother and father for letting him go.

To people he's only just met, Coalstep can come off as grumpy and unwelcoming. Strangers can easily anger him just through simple actions.

The tomcat is quite courageous; he will work fiercely for things he believes in and almost never backs down, despite how formidable his opponent may be.

Once he's devoted himself to something, it's hard for Coalstep to give up. He will put his all into finishing the task he's taken on.

Coalstep is an extreme perfectionist. For him, everything has to fit together perfectly, or he'll go crazy until it does. This can be somewhat of a hindrance in battle -- for example, if one side of his fur is all stuck up because of an attack, Coalstep will probably have to pause and fix it.

Coalstep is a tall, muscular tabby cat with both white and dark grey fur.

Coalstep has quite an interesting pelt -- a majority of his body is covered with an ashy grey, but it fades to white along his midsection, transitioning with only a few stripes. His tail is dark grey as well.
