Personal
History: Sootpaw was always a very outgoing kit. He made a bit of trouble as he was always showing off and trying to test his strength against other apprentices. However, when he felt too outgoing he ventured out of camp and had a traumatic incident in which he nearly drowned. After that he became much more withdrawn and solemn. However, he did become much more protective of his siblings. He took it upon himself to be a better protector of them so nothing like that would happen. He still loves to visit with the queens and kits to make sure they have everything they need.

[ Protective ]
When Sootpaw becomes attached to a cat, be them older or younger than him, he basically vows to protect them with his life. He wont let anything happen to them; however, he can become a bit overprotective and mothering at times if he's nervous. 

[ Quiet ]
He just doesn't talk as much as other young cats. He wont talk much unless he feels that it will progress conversation or is necessary. He does like to chat with the queens and kits in the nursery though as he feels more comfortable with them. He also feels more comfortable with elders and likes to listen to their stories. 

[ Grumpy ]
He's really not that grouchy, but he can be. He likes things a particular way and he can get bent out of shape if they aren't in that way, he especially cant stand cats goofing off instead of doing their job. He often comes off as grouchier than he is because he's quiet. 

[ Cautious ]
Sootpaw's not very anxious, but he is very cautious. He tries to think of all options before doing something potentially dangerous and he tries very hard to not get into unnecessarily dangerous situations. 

[ Strong Willed]
When he decides he wants to do something, he'll find a way. He's a very hard worker and wants to do his best. 

Likes: Stories, tree climbing, having work to do,  quiet, cool days

Dislikes: Bodies of water, humid/hot weather, being unable to help,  bugs

Appearance
Short Description: A large, broad-shouldered black and grey tom with spikey fur and a (sort of) mane.  He's got green and yellow eyes with a bit of resting angry-face. 

Long Description: A generally big boned tom, Sootpaw was the largest in his litter. He's broad-shouldered and his fur only makes him look larger. His fur is spiky, especially on his neck where it's a lighter grey.  His eyes are a lighter green with yellow at the edges and his ears have longer fur on the inside, but they're not very tufted on the tips. He tends to just look grumpy and apathetic, but that's just his face! His body type and the face can make him look a little intimidating, but he's really quite gentle. 

Build: Big boned, broad shouldered, big pawed, and muscular. 

Fur: Very soft! He's fluffy, but his fur isn't long enough to become matted. It's all midlength except on his tail, but he does have thick fur. 

Eyes: Light moss green in the center that fades to a pale yellow.
