I'll most likely just do a quick summary of the characters and their personalities and habits? Just a few little things that may be kind of important...
Dawnfeather // FogClan Medicine Cat // Female // Asexual/Aromantic // Apprentice; Dustpaw
Dawnfeather is the Medicine cat of FogClan. She is good friends with Silvertail. Dawnfeather tries to be assertive with her clanmates, though her shy personality can often get in the way. She is vigorous in her healing methods, and is firm and brisk when a clanmate is sick or injured, making sure they get enough rest and don't push themselves to get proper results. Foxclaw of WillowClan is her brother, and they were apprentices when he left the clan. Dawnfeather and her brother aren't particularly close, and while they occasionally run into each other at gatherings, they treat each other as they would a cat from another clan.
Dawnfeather stutters when she is flustered or tired, and doesn't like being the center of attention. She is happy that she chose the life of a Medicine Cat, and can't imagine her life any other way. She believes that Medicine Cats need to learn some warrior skills as well, so she will teach her apprentice, Dustpaw, fighting and hunting techniques. She reasons that though Medicine Cats are protected by the Medicine Cat code, that does not keep them safe in attacks from badgers, foxes, rogues, or in times of war.
Foxclaw // WillowClan Deputy // Male // Bisexual/Biromantic // Apprentice; Honeypaw
Foxclaw is the deputy of WillowClan, though he wasn't born there. His heritage originates from FogClan alongside his sister, Dawnfeather. The territory and life in FogClan didn't suit him, and he longed to be across the border under the sweeping trees and rivers of WillowClan. He fled his birth clan when he was an apprentice, despite his sister's protests. WillowCLan felt like home to him, and he was happy they gave him a chance to stay and prove his loyalty.
Foxclaw is a loyal WillowClan warrior. In his mind, his clanmates and his clan will always come first, even above his kinship with his sister. He hates it when his loyalty to WillowClan is ever questioned. He is bold and firm, very caring towards his clanmates. Foxclaw was shocked, to say in the least, when Ashenstar made him deputy, and he strives to make sure his leader made the right choice in confiding in him. While friendly with his own clanmates, Foxclaw is wary and distrustful of the other clans. During gatherings, he will mingle with the other cats, but tends not to say much. He feels every cat, from the youngest kit to the oldest elder, deserves respect, and never hesitates to give it to them. He and his sister don't speak very often, and Foxclaw treats Dawnfeather like he would any cat from another clan. He has never regretted his decision to leave his birth clan.
Foxclaw is rather to-the-point. He doesn't have time for "beating around the bush" when he speaks to his clanmates. He is assertive and calm, very patient with his clanmates and apprentice. These characteristics are not present when he is dealing with trespassers from other clans. As stated before, he is wary and distrustful of other clans. In the event of a hunting or border patrol skirmish, he will give only one warning for the other clan to back down. If they do not, he will attack without mercy. He is quick when assessing situations, and will retreat if he sees that there are slim chances of him winning a fight. The Warrior Code is important, and Foxclaw will do everything in his power to make sure it is followed properly. He is patient and firm in training his apprentice, Honeypaw. When he is anxious, he tends to dig his claws into the ground and work them into the dirt. He doesn't get flustered easily, but will go quiet when he is.
